The brainchild of Beth as she toured the country during her retirement, Scrappy Jacks are just what they sound like- coffee sleeves, or jackets, made from scrap material from the Pendleton Woolen Mills.
Raised by Frank and Betty, Beth understands that waste is never an option. When you grow up the eldest of 5 children with an insanely thrifty father in Wolcott, IN (current population: 990), you learn to make the most of what you have.
While creating our bags and camera straps, Beth realized she had leftover fabric that would perfectly wrap around a coffee cup. And thus, the Scrappy Jacks were born. Literally on the cutting room floor. And as she continued buying fabric, she stockpiled little scraps that the mill had no other use for. Add an insulated liner, an elastic loop, and various buttons found at Portland's SCRAP, and the Scrappy Jacks are complete.
Due to how Beth obtains the materials, no two Scrappy Jacks are the same. For this reason, it would be wise to buy the one you love, because that exact model will never be made again.
